You paste a bank statement, upload a photo, or connect your bank account. Our AI compares your transactions against a database of 100+ merchants' known billing patterns to flag duplicates, unauthorized charges, and price increases. Detection takes under 60 seconds.
Is my banking information secure?

Yes. Bank connections use read-only access via Plaid or TrueLayer — we can see transactions but cannot move money. Credentials are never stored by Reclaim. Sessions are encrypted using iOS Keychain (AES-256). We are GDPR, CCPA, and PIPEDA compliant.
What happens after Reclaim sends the recovery email?

Reclaim tracks the status of every case. If the merchant doesn't respond within 3 days, we automatically send a follow-up. Once a refund is confirmed, you log it and it's added to your recovery total. You can also escalate to a firmer or legal-tone email at any point.
Does it actually work? Will merchants refund me?

Yes — our merchant database includes verified refund rates. Netflix, Spotify, Amazon, and Adobe have 70–90%+ refund rates for clearly documented duplicate charges or unauthorized billing. A well-written professional email sent promptly is far more effective than calling customer service.

Reclaim supports 21 countries including the US, Canada, UK, Ireland, France, Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Poland, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, UAE, Australia, New Zealand, Brazil, and South Africa. Bank sync covers US/Canada (Plaid) and UK/EU (TrueLayer). Tax services are US-only for now, with international expansion coming soon.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Go to iPhone Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → Reclaim → Cancel. You keep access until the end of your current billing period. We don't charge cancellation fees and don't hide the cancel button.
